Fruits are an almost perfect healthy food and when dipped in chocolate they become sweet and yummy enough to replace any stuffing dessert, but nutritious enough to help your body out! They’re a good source of many vitamins and minerals. It is one of the most wonderful taste combinations, chocolate and strawberries, or chocolate and pineapple. These chocolates dipped fruits arrangements can be used as healthy and refreshing gift for the birthday, valentines, New Year, Christmas and wedding because fresh fruits are contaminated with bacteria in few days but when dipped in chocolate they are preserved for few days. They can be packaged in decorated boxes with 2, 4, 6, 9, 12 or more truffles to the box. They can be decorated with a ribbon to add an additional touch. You can also have your initials or some other special design put on the truffles.

Recipe:

Step 1: Get some fruit. Wash it and make sure it’s dry.
Step 2: Dump some chocolate chips in a bowl. More than you think you’ll need. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir. Repeat until the chips are melted.
Step 3: Stir in a couple tablespoons of shortening, for smoothness.
