Farah Leghari is coming up with her unique, elegant and much awaited lawn prints which will be available nationwide at all leading stores from 16th of March, 2013

About the Designer…

From being a darling of the local fashion scene to articles in the British newspapers, BBC Radio, Local and international magazines, this Leghari is a Legend! A Young Turk who took on Pakistani Fashion and wrapped it around her finger!

By the age of twenty Farah Leghari had already been there, done that! She had a successful designer label, been fashion edition for a major national daily. Launched the careers of many of today’s top models, stylists, makeup artists and photographers, and begun export of her prêt fusion line.

Fast forward to present day… she has dressed the Queen of Jordan, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and many a Pakistani society princess. Endeared by fashionistas and the fashion conscious, Farah Leghari’s outfits are statements in quintessential and effortless style.

Luscious fabrics, exquisite tailored lines, tastefully embellished: each outfit a delicious heady cocktail of east meets west. From empowering women to help feel confident about themselves…her creations celebrate the ‘fame fatale ‘ in all of us!

“I’m every woman” the Chakka Khan Song goes, and Farah Leghari’s collection, ultimately personifies that by bringing her couture and prêt experience to you through her lawns.

In this summer 2013 season Farah Leghari presents to you her debut “Signature Lawn collection” in collaberation with Gohar Textiles who are based in Faisalabad.

About Farah Leghari’s ‘Signature Lawn’ 2013…

Over a year in planning, producing the finest raw fabrics, designing the most refreshing of prints and selecting with the utmost care her color palate, she puts together this fabulous collection for you!

However a word of caution, her lawns are being offered in limited editions only and are available exclusively at very few selected outlets nationwide. So you’ll have to be the first one out of the door if you plan to grab a few of her mouth watering prints!

Credentials:

  • Has the honor of being the only “official Royal Designer from Pakistan who was assigned by the Government to create the royal wardrobe for the visiting Royals.
  • Has participated in numerous Fashion Shows all around the world representing Pakistani fashion  and has helped organize various charities abroad to raise funds for her country e.g. The Citizen’s foundation.
  • Also has had the privilege sharing the ramp with legends like Bunto Kazmi.
  • Has shown her collection at Imran Khan’s Shaukat Khanum fund raiser fashion show where the Chief Guest was the famous actor Liz Hurley. ‘Hello’ Magazine International had exclusively covered her event.

She has made more international headlines all over the world than any other designer ever in the history of Pakistan!

She showed her collection at an exhibition organized by the High Commission of Pakistan at the embassy in London. The function hosted by  the High Commissioner herself Maleeha Lodhi boasted having  the top business community of Asia, foreign Ambassadors and VIP dignitaries attend.

UAE Sheikhas and the International jet set around the world are some of her many clients.
