Pot Roast Recipe

A pot roast chicken recipe packed full of healthy, homely goodness – what’s not to love? Throw in a combination of root vegetables or Jerusalem artichokes to give the dish a lovely earthy flavour

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lg. potatoes, sliced
  • 2 to 3 carrots, sliced
  • 1 to 2 small onions, sliced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 to 4 pound pot roast
  • 1/2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Add all vegetables, salt, and pepper to the crock pot.
  2. Add meat and water.
  3. Cook at low for 10-12 hours or high for 5-6 hours.
