A glycerin and rosewater hand lotion moisturizes dry hands, and makes them smell divine! Sure, there are hand lotions available in stores made with these ingredients, but the sweet satisfaction of making a homemade version is reason enough to whip it up.
1/3 cup glycerin
2/3 cups rosewater
A lotion which I have been using for a very long time. It consists of simple ingredients of glycerin and rosewater. In winter season my hands get dry and no matter what I do nothing helps. I found this homemade lotion recipe without the specific amount of quantity. I have determined the quantity of the ingredients through the years by trial and error.

Rosewater and Glycerin Lotion
1-1/2 c distilled water
3 tsp rose oil
1/3 c glycerin
(both the glycerin and rose oil can be obtained at most pharmacies but if they do not have rose oil you can substitute 1-2/3 c of “rose water”for the water and rose oil in the formula)
