A lotion which I have been using for a very long time. It consists of simple ingredients of glycerin and rosewater. In winter season my hands get dry and no matter what I do nothing helps. I found this homemade lotion recipe without the specific amount of quantity. I have determined the quantity of the ingredients through the years by trial and error.
Here is the recipe:
The simplest homemade body lotion is an old favorite –
Rosewater and Glycerin Lotion
1-1/2 c distilled water
3 tsp rose oil
1/3 c glycerin
(both the glycerin and rose oil can be obtained at most pharmacies but if they do not have rose oil you can substitute 1-2/3 c of “rose water”for the water and rose oil in the formula)
Aloe vera is used in many skin care products due to its ability to stimulate healthy cell growth and also to repair damaged tissues. It contains anti-inflammatory properties and burn healing effects.
1 cup Aloe Vera gel
1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
1/3-cup coconut oil
