Eid-Ul-Adha Towards Meat’s Overness

Eid ul-Adha; The Festival of the Sacrifice is one of two major Islamic celebrations and takes place on the Islamic month Dhul-Hijjah, in which millions of Muslims from around the world make an annual pilgrimage to Makkah in order to worship Allah and to commemorate the willingness of the Prophet Abraham (PBUH) to sacrifice his son Ishmael in response to a command from God.

Shelf life of some food items

Eggs: Store in the original carton on a shelf, not in the fridge door. Use within 3-5 weeks or by the suggested expiry date. Leftover uncooked egg whites can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days or for up to a year in the freezer. Egg yolks can be stored in the fridge for 2-4 days. Freezing egg yolks is not recommended.

Fresh vegetables: Store in the fridge and use within 5-7 days. Frozen vegetables will keep for up to a year.
