Rage is formed by four talented youngsters named Salman Haider on vocals, Ahmer Kenneth on lead guitars, Aamir Abbas on keyboards and Chris on bass guitars.
Rage is not new to Pakistani music scene as it started the journey in 1986 as an underground band from Lahore. Rage – having matured up after their debut album, they gave music for TV serial Aashiyana and proved that they are quite good with heavy metals.
Rage’s second album is finally out in the market. Released by Sadaf Stereo it offers 12 songs including “Akhiyan” and “Chand Se Chehron “from their debut album “Aashiyana”.
Allah Hu”:
The album starts with this mystic number that has got a message for all believers. Personally I liked it a lot because of its lyrics.
Dewana:
Next comes the title track “Deewana” with catchy beats and great vocals by Salman. For sure you will love it.
“Maal Gari”:
It is third track of album with average lyrics but good guitars.
“Shola”:
Shola is just okay but I would call it “a different track”.
“Chand Se Chehron”
This is remixed version of original track from Rage’s first album. Let me tell you that remixed version is cooler than the original one. Its video, directed by Salman himself, is aired by various TV channels. This is an excellent track with lovely lyrics and electrifying vocals. In other words its one of best tracks by Rage so far.
“Pakistan”:
It is sixth track of album and basically a patriotic song. It is really nice effort by Rage and for sure this song would get its space in national top ten charts of 2003.
“Kho Gaya Mera Chand”:
Next comes which is one of my personal favorites. It is a slow smoothing song with lovely light music and superb lyrics. Its video, directed again by Salman, is in big demand these days in various TV programs and even included in top ten charts. It is a must listen from this album!
“Jogi”:
Jogi is really cool track with impressive composition. Chances are there that you would start dancing while listening it.
“Kabhi Kabhi”:
Next comes Kabhi Kabhi with nice dholki effects. It is a soft sentimental number. “Bin Us Kay” written by lead vocalist Salman is again a sentimental number of typical “Rage” style with excellent gars by Chris and Ahmer.
“Akhiyan”:
