The Horticultural Society of Pakistan will hold its 60th annual flower show. The show will display stalls by Cactus & Succulent Society of Pakistan, the Orchid Society,The Bonsai Society, Ladies Horticultural Club, Amateur Gardner’s Club, Ikebana International, Sojetsu Study Group, Ohara Study Group, & Floral Art Society.
A three day workshop will allow visitors to attend lectures on gardening, including demonstration by Bonsai Master Charles Coreno from South Africa. Numerous nursery and gardening stalls allow visitors to purchase flowers, gardening implements, plants and shrubs, etc that catches their fancy.

The visitors to the show used the opportunity for spending quality time with their family members. Speaking at a press briefing on the opening day of the Flower Show, the HSP Chairman, Fahim I Siddiqui, said the Horticulture Society was established in Pakistan in 1948, and since then it had been organizing its annual flower shows and competitions regularly except for two years when the show could not be held due to some unavoidable circumstances.
