Mother’s Expo 2009 in Karachi

Pakistan’s First ‘Mothers Expo & Conference 2009’ is being organized by ‘Campaign’ and ‘Crafters Tec’ in collaboration with Women Development Department of Sindh on 30th , 31st October & 1st November 2009 at Expo Center, Karachi.

Mother Expo is a Premiere event showcasing pre and post-natal products and services ranging up to the age of five. Mother Expo brings together a diverse selection of buyers and exhibitors directed at the maternity, infant & toddler and the growing family markets.

The exhibition aims at highlighting the role/respect of mother amongst people and also raising awareness in mothers regarding their responsibilities in order to play their better role for development of the society.

The event will raise awareness, as well as it will provide entertainment. The event will contain various activities such as cooking competitions, best tip of the day, best quote of the day, face painting competitions, quickest recipe of the day, milestones memories and others, which also include features such as cooking demonstration, flower arrangement, vegetable carving, cake decoration with complete awareness of home and kitchen management.

The participants will also get amused with several other stalls catering to aesthetic and fashion requirements such as cosmetics, perfumes, wedding dresses, jewelry, leather goods, and garments and textile, hijabs, bags, shoes and all other items. The event will also have entertainment for children such as play zone facilities, theaters, magic shows, puppet shows, jugglers, jumping castles, computer gaming zone.

Speech competition will also be organized in the event. School and college students could participate in the competition. A seminar will also be held on the significance of mother and to highlight its role.
