Yet another project with Indian and Pakistani talents has been planned. After DUS, which stars Pakistani actor Jawed Sheikh with a host of Indian names, a London-based producer has now teamed Sunil Shetty and Pakistani actor Omer Sharif for a new film. Yusuf Khan, who had earlier directed the Sunny-Suniel-Ajay Jadeja starrer KHEL, will direct the project.
“The film [not titled yet] is about three couples from Mumbai who fly to London and the confusion that ensues,” Yusuf divulges. So far, only Suniel and Umer Sharif have been confirmed, while one more hero and three leading ladies are under finalization. India FM reported.
In fact, Umer Sharif will be handling dual responsibilities. Besides acting, the actor will also be writing the dialogues. “It’s an action-comedy,” Yusuf adds. To be shot in a single schedule of 45 days from September/October this year, the entire shooting will be wrapped up in London.
While Sukhwinder Singh will record three songs, a Pakistani musician has been assigned the responsibility of recording the remaining three songs. Anand Vardhan and Ila Bedi will pen the screenplay.
