You will need:

  • a mortar & pestle
  • alcohol
  • essential oils or dried flowers/spices
  • vegetable oil
  • distilled water

Decide on a scent

If you’re a fan of fresh florals, try adding sandalwood, rose, ylang-ylang, vanilla, and jasmine. For something spicy, mix ginger, bergamot, and cardamom. If you’re stuck, look online for other great combinations.

Mix ingredients
