For all Chinese cuisine lovers, here is a surefire way to please your loved ones or guests. Chicken Manchurian along with hot fried rice is a finger licking combo that everyone craves. Chicken Manchurian is pretty simple to make. Do try this chicken Manchurian recipe at home.


  • 500 gm Boneless chicken

For Marination

  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 Egg (whisked)
  • Salt to taste
  • White pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • tbsp flour

For Sauce

  • 4 garlic cloves chopped
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 3 tbsp chilli garlic sauce
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 1 Spring onion
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 4 Pineapple slices
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • White pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Worcester Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • oil as required
  • 1 glass water

Cooking Method

  1. Cut chicken into small cubes and marinate with flour, egg, garlic powder, black pepper, white pepper, salt and 1 tbsp oil. (Approximately half an hour).

  2. Now heat oil a deep pan over medium heat. Deep fry the marinated chicken and keep aside.

  3. Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and saute chopped garlic in it. Then add green pepper, spring onion and stir fry for few minutes. Now add pineapple chunks and stir fry for another 2 minutes.

  4. Add fried chicken and stir in the ketchup, chilli garlic sauce, salt, black and white pepper.Add a glass of water and cook for 3 minutes.

  5. Add Worcester sauce and let it simmer for few minutes.

  6. Dissolve corn flour in little water and add to the sauce while stirring.Let it simmer for few minutes or until sauce is thickened.

  7. Just before serving add a few drops of lemon juice and dish it out.Delicious Chicken Manchurian is ready to serve.

Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with egg fried rice.
