After the success of Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat last year on Geo Tv , the full fledged comedy serial is back with a sequel titled Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat. Starring Javed Sheikh, Saba Hameed, Samina Ahmed, Bushra Ansari, Aisha Omer, Ali Safina etc.

‘Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat’ revolves around the life, times and wedding plans of Azar’s cousin Dolly. After having had her heart shattered to pieces because she couldn’t marry the love of her life Azar; Dolly is now all set to do as mother ‘Saima Chauhdary’ ( Bushra Ansari) tells her and marry Mushtaq( Ali safina), the guy her mother has chosen.

Although Dolly is still unsure about Mushtaq, Saima is hell bent on making sure that Dolly marries him, simply because she can’t afford to let Dolly break off her seventh engagement!

‘Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat’ is a fun-filled comedy serial which also comments on cultural clash, Pakistan’s social class system and our prevailing attitudes towards it in a light-hearted way.

Marina Khan is the talented director of this serial and it has been written by Bushra Ansari and Wasay Chauhdary. They changed Sarwat Gillani with Ayesha Omar who is playing Azar’s wife Sila’s role. Anyway, the drama looks interesting and hats off to Bushra Ansari! She’s amazing as Saima Chauhdary, playing the role of typical fashion Designer from Faisalabad in it. One of the career best for her.
