- Salt and pepper
- Peel potatoes and slice thin.
- In an over-sized microwave-safe pan, alternate layers of potato slices with sprinkled
- Add 1 T of butter per potato.
- Add enough milk to reach half way up potato layers.
- Cover and microwave for 7 minutes on high.
- Stir and microwave for 8 to 15 more minutes until potatoes are tender.
The milk tends to boil over if the pan is not big enough. This makes a really big mess in the microwave!
