Sana Safinaz Lawn 2012 Campaign has stirred a controversy way before the launch of the collection. The designer duo is famous for their exquisite Lawn designs and have been labelled as the best sellers because their Lawn prints sold out withing hours after launch by crazy buyers. It is worth mentioning here that Oscar winner Pakistani documentary film director Sharmeen Chinoy also flaunt Sana Safinaz outfits at the Vanity Fair.
This year their print ad campaign shows a model wearing Sana Safinaz Lawn with a backdrop of Coolies on a railway station carrying branded bags, portraying class difference. There is an outrage on social media for the brand for such insensitive ad campaign but still no response officially from the Brand.
This is now up to the buyers of The brands will they be boycotting Sana Safinaz this year after such campaign or the brand will remain within hours sold out ?
don’t have a thing for Pakistani designer lawn, or for that matter any designer stuff, people with complexes and low self esteem go for that stuff. It will be pathetic if they sell out in hours,will show how concerned and caring Pakistani women are for the ordinary poor people.
