Making Traditional Karhi with Pakora

Karhi is a traditional curry made of yogurt and gram flour with spices. A curry is first prepared with yogurt and gram flour and than fried gram flour dumplings( Pakoras) are added into it.

Here is an easy and step by step guide for you to make this dish at home.

Ingredients!

For Curry:

1 cup Besan (Gram flour) 2 cups yogurt, 30 curry leaves, 1 garlic, 2 ginger, 1md onion, 2md tomatoes, ½ ts pomegranate seeds (anar dana) ½ ts Ajwain, ½ ts cumin seeds, ½ ts whole black paper, 1½ tbs salt, chili powder, coriander powder each, ¾ ts turmeric, water 5 ½ -6 lt, cooking oil .

Pakoriyan:

2 cups besan (gram flour) 1md onion, 15-20 green chilies, 1tbs crushed chilies, 1tbs coriander powder, 1ts salt, 1ts baking powder, ½ ts whole black paper, pomegranate seeds, ajwain, cumin seeds each.
